[09:44am CDT] Currently having an outage with our main app at https://app.zencash.com We are investigating the cause with our PaaS provider.
[10:14am CDT] Main application is back up. We are making sure everything is in order.

[10:37am CDT] All systems restored. We are investigating the cause of the outage.
[11:10am CDT] It looks like the outage was caused by faulty hardware on AWS, which caused our master database to become unresponsive. We rebooted the master database but it remained inaccessible. So, we proceeded to fail over to the slave database spare and promote it to master. This brought the app back up temporarily. Some application instances failed to restart during the database master takeover, and they had to be manually restarted, which restored the app to full service.
